Shake Before Using

Shake Before Using 2

I still don't think it's a particularly great or unique map, just a solid one, but I changed stuff.

From what I'm seeing, the original is a pretty decent map in terms of how the fronts play out. I don't mind it, and it fits better in GT2 than I had initially thought. Will keep an eye on those replays I guess.

If you are still making edits, you might want to remove 1-2 forests. With the bases this far away now, it might stale too easily if it is hard to move around.

Finished for two days now. I can hear the weapons getting charged.

Yeah, we're working on it. The bracket is up on the first post, but we're having technical problems getting the bracket image. We're also finalizing the maps and settings. The double elimination stage will be starting shortly. :)

Alright, all information for the Double Elimination Stage - Round 1 has been put up on the front page. Bracket, games, maps and settings are up, and I'll be creating games shortly.

For joining your game:

All game names will be the following form: "GT2 (game ID) - (player 1) vs. (player 2)". For example, for Ultra Storm vs. akiyoshi, the game name will be "GT2 U1 - Ultra Storm vs. akiyoshi". The game IDs are shown on the main post.

Player 1 should join as... Player 1 (GS on Stir Before Using and BM on Masked Fury). If you, for some reason, join as the wrong player, PLEASE DO NOT DROP OUT. Send me a PM instead, and I'll take care of it.

The password for all games will be "gt2 (game ID)". So for Ultra Storm vs. akiyoshi, the password will be "gt2 u1".

All players have until 12:00am May 30th (EST) to join their game. All players who have not joined will receive an autoloss (only exceptions are for players on vacation). Good luck everyone!

UPDATE: All games have been made.

Here, let me help fill in that last one for you.

Spoiler!

I think the most interesting match-ups are:

ANT13 vs. black_wave - I think I like ANT13 to win this one, though b_wave has been playing really strong lately
fdkanns vs. TotalFire - Toss up to me, though maybe kanns has a bit of an edge
japanj vs. taviroww - Both pretty good players, but haven't seen that much of either lately. I'd pick taviroww.
Weakest Xiaoniao vs. 1000rpm - I think 1000rpm is super underrated, though Weakest will probably still win this one.
SM Ephraim vs. oswaldoo12 - Easily the toughest match-up in the lower bracket. I think Ephraim will win, but this is a hard Round 1 out for whoever loses.

Haha he won't be the only one. The first two rounds should be nicknamed "The War of Attrition".

Marxist is going to be a challenge, I'll really need to focus in that game if I want to stay in the tournament.

Ymouba is pretty good, but I think you two are about the same skill level. It's been a while since i've played him though, so don't take him lightly haha.

nah, TotalFire has the edge but it should be somwhat close.

Probably not the best time to be completely out of practice :(
